I've spent more than 20 years in accounting and audit, most of it inside real estate. I've closed the books on everything from a 4,500-unit apartment portfolio to Class A office towers in Manhattan.
At Cammeby's Management Company, I managed accounting and month-end closes for eight residential entities totaling about 4,500 units, and built the cash-flow projections and variance reports used by asset management. At Sierra Real Estate Management, I handled all accounting for a ten-property mixed residential and commercial portfolio and worked directly with investors on capital calls, contributions and distributions. At RXR Realty, I ran the monthly, quarterly and annual closes for 1.6 million sq. ft. of Class A Manhattan office space. Since 2018, I've provided outsourced accounting, projections, due diligence and reporting to property management companies and real estate syndicators.
I know how your business works: owner statements, investor reporting, budgets and variance analysis, CapEx tracking, audits, and software like Yardi, MRI and AppFolio. Monday CFO brings that big-firm experience to growing property management firms, without the cost of a full-time CFO.
